In December 2025, Villani, Inc. terminated the license agreement with Dermata Therapeutics. Under the agreement, the clinical data and regulatory rights from the DMT310 (XYNGARI™) program, including the Phase 3 STAR-1 trial, belong to Villani, Inc.

DMT310 is an investigational once-weekly topical drug candidate for moderate-to-severe acne. It has been studied in more than 800 acne patients, and in its Phase 3 trial, STAR-1, it met all three co-primary endpoints.

Villani, Inc. plans to continue the development of DMT310 independently while also pursuing strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies. Villani, Inc. believes DMT310 has the potential to become a new once-weekly topical treatment for people with moderate-to-severe acne.

DMT310 is an investigational drug and has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. XYNGARI™ is a trademark of Dermata Therapeutics, Inc. This post contains forward-looking statements about the planned development of DMT310. Actual results may differ.
